See you at the meeting!

2019 Annual Meeting

Join us in Bethesda this July to extend the important initiatives that began last summer, when 150 individuals participated in the inaugural MCBK public meeting. We welcome participants from the U.S. and around the world, including those who attended last year and newcomers to this movement.

The meeting program will include renowned speakers and panel discussions, action-oriented sessions to advance the missions of four open work groups, an expanded poster session, technical demonstrations, and networking opportunities. The work groups will collectively be advancing a roadmap to making biomedical knowledge "FAIR": findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable. In this way, working together, we can complement "Big Data" with equally or more important "Big Knowledge" to improve the health of individuals and populations.

Register now to join biomedical informaticians, librarians, researchers and clinicians from all disciplines, policy-makers, public health professionals, and others who have already joined the movement.

We look forward to seeing you in July.

Sincerely,

The MCBK Community Co-Chairs

Charles Friedman and Rachel Richesson
